Kelly A Hutchinson
Principal

Kelly has a passion for technology focusing on industry development, promoting business opportunities and developing online services for the ICT industry to connect and grow. In her role at AIIA from 2008-2011 Kelly represented Australia on regional associations ASOCIO and APICTA and hosted the Asia Pacific Digital Innovation Summit (Melb 2009). Managing the iAwards saw the peak industry awards partnership established and the reputation of Australian innovators enhanced. Rebranding the AIIA in its 32nd year and only 3rd brand was a highlight.

Before returning to Australia to join AIIA, Kelly worked in Southeast Asian private sector development building expertise in ICT solutions from 1999-2007. Highlights included the Village Phone and ANZ Wing Mobile Banking initiatives in Cambodia. As ICT Expert for Indochina Research from 2002-2006, she coordinated IT sector research for Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. She was active in the Australian Business Association of Cambodia and she co-founded the ICT Association of Cambodia.

With Master’s degrees in Communications and in Business IT (RMIT University) she was an invited speaker at the WITSA World IT Congress in Austin (2006) and the Global Public Policy Conferences in Kuala Lumpur (2005) and Cairo (2007) and to present her research on Social 
Enterprises and ICT for Development at the ICTD 2009 conference in Doha
